Sometimes we ship wild, one of a kind items. And other times, like this time, we ship a collection that hangs together in such a perfect way that we’d almost rather keep it in a frame. The photos will have to do. Read the full letter after the jump.
Hi Todd,
Thanks for subscribing to Comma, the Vintage Menswear Subscription Service! Here’s what you get:Osh Kosh B’Gosh Flannel: We’re always excited to ship Osh Kosh here at CVHQ because it’s one of those brands that’s changed a fair bit between now and their vintage heyday. Nowadays the brand only sells childrens clothing. But for nearly 100 years they made quality workwear in Wisconsin, like this 100% cotton heavyweight flannel shirt.
Royals: The logo, the fade, and the weight of this piece are enough for us to get excited about it. But the vintage fabric Adidas tag inside, which dates this piece to the late 70s or early 80s, really drives it to another level.
Austin Parachute: This t-shirt is by far one of the best graphics I’ve found this year. Unique brands are one thing. Place based shirts another. But this one has a skydiving armadillo. It really doesn’t get much better to us. This style of Russell Athletic dag dates the piece to the late 1970s or early 1980s.
