Vintage LL Bean Down Vest

We ship a lot of LL Bean here at Comma Vintage. Can you blame us? It’s stylish, durable, and functional. Take this down vest, example. The script logo dates it to the 1970s or so. It’s the least surf ready piece of clothing we could imagine, but hey, we’re not ones for intrabox consistency. More details below:

Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for subscribing to Comma, the Vintage Menswear Subscription Service. Here’s what you get:

Down Vest: It’s rare I find an item like this, so I’m glad to share it with a long-time customer. Here we have a vintage down vest made by LL Bean. The script logo here dates the vest to the 1970s or earlier. It’s made in the USA, and, unlike many vests sold today, it really is filled with goose down. Warm, lightweight, stylish, and durable. Thanks for being a loyal subscriber.

Button-up Shirt: Here we have a vintage cotton-poly poplin button-up. A bit less remarkable than the vest, but there are details to admire. I most like the twin bias cut chest pockets with mitred corners and the gentle curve to the structured collar.

Some Other things: I hope you find these fun or useful or both.
