A Vintage Levi’s Button-up: This shirt features two chest pockets, a point collar, and a plaid that’s bright without being gaudy. Levi’s is pretty fool-proof when it comes to style, so I hope this will fit into your wardrobe. Tagged a medium, but quite slim. Made in USA.
A Blue Henley: Hanes, for all its $12.99 t-shirt five packs at Target, has a heck of history with cotton. This henley is thick, the placket is sturdy, and the fit should be just right for you as either a top layer or an undershirt. Bright but simple. Made in USA.
A Yellow T-Shirt: North Carolina was once the heart of the American garment industry. (Hanes, incidentally, was founded in Winston-Salem.) There were a lot of cotton mills and t-shirt factories in the region. This one is from a little place in Rocky Mount. Tubular knit, mounted collar, and, as far as I can tell, never worn. Made in USA.
You mentioned the Greaser/Rockabilly look: Nothing does it better than slim jeans, a leather jacket, and a plain white tee. So you’re almost there. After that, it’s more about how you carry yourself and your hair than anything else. If I get a plain white tee worth sending, I’ll certainly do it next time around!
