We’ve had this seemingly unworn denim Osh Kosh B’Gosh jacket in our inventory for a while, waiting for the right subscriber to come around. The content of Bill’s survey and his dimensions convinced us we’d found our person, and we were thrilled when Bill sent a kind thank you letter in return. Kristoffer’s Box

Photo stolen from @apheks73
Kristoffer got a basic looking box. The contents were neatly folded. The color palette was dull. And none of it’s contents really take the eye. But everything in it can be worn twenty different ways. Here at Comma we eschew costuming. We’re proud to put together shipments that blend with your everyday wear. The value needn’t be visual.
Dan’s Box: Double Cardigans
So Dan got a little lucky. He got one of our last winter shipments, and as storage space is at a premium, he got not one but two cardigans. And, as he told me later, that shells booklet nearly made him break the lease on his apartment. (A spooky coincidence transpired!) But that’s between him and the ghosts. Read the full letter below.
Brett’s Box and the Buzzword Cardigan
I don’t always have photos of the box itself, but sometimes that’s best. This sweater was the centerpiece of Brett’s first shipment, and it deserves to go solo. I’m not even going to post the letter. Let’s keep talking about this cardigan:
Some Notes on Big Flannel
Big Data and Big Oil are not inherently defined, just umbrella terms that shelter an unfixed collection of ideas and institutions.
Big Flannel, though, is per my distinction a specific thing. And it refers to any flannel shirtmaker brand name of which the first word is “Big.” I count three: Big Mac, Big Yank, and Big Mike.
Mr. Boondock’s Box
Thrilled to ship a box to Boondock Studios, makers of outstanding jewelry and accessories. This is one of our first shipments, and it couldn’t have gone better. Check them out on Instagram @boondock_studios.

Spencer’s Box
Spencer spends a lot of time outside. So a vintage Woolrich Mountain Parka fits his needs alright. Another photo stolen from his Instagram. Sorry dog. Read the full letter below.
Ryan’s Box
We sent this box to a family friend in New York City, so the EF bag was well-received. And the tie I reference in the letter is from Armani Collezione (none of that Emporio/Exchange/Jeans b.s. coming from these us.) We stole this photo from his Instagram account. We hope he’s not upset. To learn more about the content, read the full letter below. Continue reading
